Co-Founder and Director, Kinetic Studios

Greece

William Ascott is co-founder and director of Kinetic Studios, a consulting firm focused on promoting sport and movement as tools for community change. Previously, he was the co-founder and director of Free Movement Skateboarding (FMS), a youth-led initiative with the mission of promoting well-being and social cohesion among displaced and marginalized youth in Greece through sport. Inspired by the transformational power of sport he witnessed while volunteering in Palestine, Will created FMS to support urban communities with youth empowerment through trauma-informed workshops, mobile infrastructure, and peer-to-peer mentorship. Will teaches young leaders how to navigate systemic barriers, building a global ecosystem where sport serves as the foundation for community integration and personal growth. Since 2017, Will has facilitated 1,500 workshops reaching 4,500 young people, 65% of whom are displaced. He has translated grassroots energy into systemic tools, including the creation of an adidas-funded anti-racism curriculum and an Olympics-funded disability-inclusion program scheduled for release in 2026.
