CEO & Founder, InovaYa

France

Khaled Al Mezayen is the CEO of InovaYa, a social enterprise dedicated to innovating water access through decentralized treatment and safe reuse. His work focuses on developing regenerative systems that prioritize circularity and modular infrastructure that communities can operate at the local level. He designed France’s first "dry" cosmetics factory, which reduced water demand by over 70%, and deployed systems to provide essential safe drinking water in French Guiana and Guadeloupe. Using his experience in stakeholder coordination and public advocacy around regenerative, decentralized water systems, he also co-authored a national white paper that helped shape France’s decree on wastewater reuse. Working at the intersection of science and regenerative business, Khaled connects private-sector innovation with environmental justice to make basic water access more practical and collaborative.
