Ashalyna Noa is a lecturer and researcher at the University of Canterbury, where she co-coordinates the Pacific Studies program to embed various Pacific perspectives, worldviews, and interdisciplinary research in teaching and learning Over a 17-year career, she has led Pacific change strategies across four departments and advised on more than 300 courses. Beyond her work at the university, she is a co-founder of 03 Talanoa, a collective, which amplifies stories and research on Pacific peoples and Asia. She is also the vice president of P.A.C.I.F.I.C.A. Inc., where she connects grassroots groups to organizational frameworks and supports local and national community-led social change for Pacific women and girls living in Aotearoa New Zealand.
