Mohammed Iddi
2026-2027 Obama Foundation Africa Leader

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Yom Yom
Ghana
Mohammed Iddi is the founder and chief executive officer of Yom Yom, a sustainable agri-logistics venture dedicated to fixing broken agricultural supply chains in West Africa by connecting smallholder farmers to markets through electric vehicles and digital technology. Under his leadership, the company has established 43 rural hubs, transferred over $3M worth of food, and reduced post-harvest losses by a third for over 10,000 farmers in some districts in Ghana. He is committed to shifting power in the supply chain back to rural producers, especially women. By creating digital records for farmers who are not in the banking system, Mohammed helps them access investment and build more stability. He now aims to scale this work to 100,000 producers by 2030 and build systems that include people who have long been left out of formal markets.
