Ignitious Phoku is a program officer in South Africa's Department of Trade, Industry, and Competition, where he facilitates national initiatives focused on industrial development, investment facilitation, and regulatory reform. He has over a decade of experience working to improve the country’s investment climate and coordinating technical working groups that identify and address regulatory bottlenecks. He also played a key role in the conceptualization and development of a digital reform platform, EOSS Single Window Application Platform, that simplifies the project development phase for independent power producers.
