Jane Hanna is the deputy director of the Entrepreneurship Center at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport, where she expands economic opportunities for youth and women by strengthening entrepreneurship environments in Egypt and across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Over the past decade she secured more than $20M in grant funding, mentored over 150 startups, and contributed to the growth of flagship programs including Rally Egypt and Ripple. Rally Egypt engages approximately 5,000 students annually across 35 universities through entrepreneurship, incubation, and investment-readiness activities, while Ripple strengthens the capacity of university-based entrepreneurship centers and ecosystem enablers across the region. Jane is committed to breaking down the barriers that prevent under-resourced groups from accessing mentorship, funding, networks, and opportunities to grow.
