Sawyer Bailey is the executive director of AdkAction, a nonprofit leading rural community-driven innovation across the 102 Adirondack towns and villages in New York State’s Adirondack Park to advance solutions in housing, food systems, and environmental resilience rooted in the lived experience of rural communities. Sawyer has built more than 50 cross-sector partnerships, helped feed residents through regional food system coordination, and co-led initiatives like the Adirondack Food Systems Network and Common Ground Alliance to bridge divides among 3,000 participants.
