Jamila Trimuel is the founder and CEO of Ladies of Virtue, a nonprofit organization empowering girls to become confident and purpose-driven leaders through mentorship and coaching. Ladies of Virtue serves more than 3,000 Black girls and young women annually through its Saturday Leadership Institute and related programs, with over 90% of participating high school seniors continuing to college, trade school, or military service each year. Grounded in her experience in healthcare administration and urban education leadership, Jamila has also created the Inner G.L.O.W. (Girls Living Out Wellness) program focused on mental health and launched Chicago’s first pharmacy technician pipeline program specifically for Black girls.
