Landon Mascareñaz is the executive director of Courageous Colorado, an initiative building coalitions to advance community-driven government and electoral reform across the ideological spectrum. In 2025, he led a 25-stop statewide listening and activation tour convening rural, suburban, and urban communities across ideological divides to co-create a statewide 2030 Democracy Agenda on reforms including ranked-choice voting, open primaries, citizen assemblies, and campaign finance transparency. Landon spent two decades working on community-driven change in civic education and democracy, teaching on the Navajo Nation, and most recently organizing rural Coloradans on ranked choice voting.
