Sandra Talbott is the general counsel for the City of Chicago Office of Public Safety Administration, where she leads legal and policy efforts to improve and modernize Chicago’s public safety infrastructure across police, fire, and emergency management systems. Previously, as Deputy Director of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Procurement Collusion Strike Force, Sandra coordinated nationwide enforcement and oversight efforts to combat crimes targeting government funding at federal, state, and local levels of government. As a federal prosecutor and Illinois assistant attorney general, Sandra also led complex investigations into public corruption, financial fraud, bid rigging, and anticompetitive conduct that undermined public trust and government integrity.
