Sandra Lacey is the executive director of Mill Town Charitable Foundation, a nonprofit focused on strengthening public education and expanding opportunity in post-industrial communities. Previously, Sandra was the executive director of the Howe Innovation Center at Perkins School for the Blind, where she built the nation’s first DisabilityTech innovation ecosystem to accelerate accessible technology and expand opportunity for people with disabilities. She has built an innovation network tracking more than 2,500 companies and 400 investors, secured over $1M in external funding, and led partnerships with organizations including Amazon, MIT, Honda, McKinsey, and OpenAI to shape the future of accessible AI and adaptive learning technology. Sandra oversees a $9M innovation portfolio advancing Braille literacy, AI accessibility, and disability-centered design for more than one million children worldwide.
