Ryan Greer is the chair of Bedrock, a nonprofit organization coordinating national efforts to prevent hate-fueled and ideological violence in the United States. Under Ryan’s leadership, Bedrock has grown into a coalition of 71 organizational partners, including civil rights groups, violence prevention practitioners, national security experts, faith leaders, researchers, and democracy organizations working across ideological and institutional divides, along with building a shared resource portal with more than 650 evidence-based studies and toolkits. Ryan’s career at the intersection of national security and civil rights includes work on terrorism, extremism, civil liberties, and targeted violence prevention, including at the Anti-Defamation League, the U.S. Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, and the White House National Security Council.
