Ryan Greer is the chair of Bedrock, a nonprofit organization coordinating national efforts to prevent hate-fueled and ideological violence in the United States, as well as Chief Strategy Officer at PERIL. coalition of 73 organizational partners, including civil rights groups, violence prevention practitioners, national security experts, faith leaders, researchers, and democracy organizations working across ideological and institutional divides, along with building a shared resource portal with more than 650 evidence-based studies and toolkits. Ryan’s career at the intersection of national security and civil rights includes work on terrorism, extremism, civil liberties, and targeted violence prevention, including at the Anti-Defamation League, the U.S. Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, and the White House National Security Council.
