Rosa Velázquez is the executive director of the Arkansas Movement Collective, a nonprofit community organizing accelerator, where she builds civic infrastructure and collective power across under-resourced groups in the South. Over the past decade, she has worked on immigration policy at both the national and state levels. Through the #Right2Dream movement in 2012, she contributed to advocacy efforts that helped inform the creation of DACA. In Arkansas, she has worked across the aisle to expand access to in-state tuition, professional licensing, and the Arkansas State DREAM Act, reforms that have affected more than 10,000 Arkansans.
