Co-Founder and General Partner, Planet A Ventures

Fridtjof Detzner is a co-founder and general partner of Planet A Ventures, an impact investment firm that provides early-stage financing and mentoring to highly scalable green technology startups, while tracking and projecting their positive environmental impact. Their strategy equips entrepreneurs with the knowledge to objectively define, visualize, and forecast the ecological effects of their product or service, allowing them to make long-term decisions at every stage of the process. In 2017, Fridtjof traveled the world to film a TV series documenting the world’s progress toward achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The harsh reality of the climate crisis and human-caused environmental deterioration that he witnessed compelled him to devote his time and energy to sustainability.
