András Nyirati is the president of the Power of Humanity Foundation (Emberség Erejével Alapítvány, EEA), an organization with the mission to build a society where human rights and equality are respected, and democracy prevails. EEA works to strengthen democracy in Hungary by fostering the growth of strong, local civil society organizations throughout the country. They provide grant financing and capacity-building opportunities to 60 non-governmental organizations each year. András oversees the general operations, capacity building program, and civic education projects. He is motivated to act for a fairer society.
