Samantha Peña is dedicated to making fresh, whole foods more accessible to people facing food insecurity in urban food deserts. As a volunteer at her college’s community farm and as a Green Systems intern on campus, Samantha has advocated for the expansion of the campus’s composting program and volunteered at community events at the farm.
