Ava Ward-Wallace is committed to advancing education equity and exploring strategies to dismantle the school-to-prison pipeline. In her research on Black students in alternative education, Ava studies the impact of exclusionary discipline tactics on student development in an effort to help shape inclusive policy recommendations for school districts.
