Kaylin Long

Kaylin Long is passionate about building meaningful connections between the restaurant and nonprofit sectors to address diet-related health disparities, develop sustainable approaches to food waste, and expand access to culturally relevant, nutritious foods in underserved communities. Over the past year, Kaylin has worked at the intersection of nutrition security and food waste reduction, providing healthy meals to food-insecure students with Equiti Foods through the USDA’s Summer Nutrition Program, while working to partner with restaurants, producers, and suppliers to divert surplus food from local waste streams as an intern at Grow to Life.
