Katie Joy Williams is focused on reforming community violence interventions and public safety policy to ensure solutions are built by those most impacted. She served as the Chair of Public Safety for the Chicago Mayor's Youth Commission, advising city officials on public safety policy and partnering with local organizations on youth programming for vacant lots.
