Grand Opening Highlights

We’re not planning your standard ribbon cutting. The opening of the Obama Presidential Center will be a celebration of the power of ordinary people coming together to do extraordinary things. From our next door neighbors to our community online, we invite you to celebrate this milestone through a week of moments designed to inspire action on campus and across the world.

  • June 18, 2026

    The Grand Opening Ceremony marks the official unveiling of the Center. Livestream legendary performances by global icons and powerful remarks from today’s most prominent voices and leaders.

  • June 19, 2026

    The Obama Presidential Center Museum opens to the public. General public tickets will go on sale on May 6, 2026. Obama Foundation Founding Members get exclusive early access to purchase tickets two weeks before the general public.

    A free, open-house style weekend with live performances, family-friendly activities, food, art, and storytelling across campus.
