Rachel Carson Reading Garden

Head over to the Library and take in a new book at the Rachel Carson Reading Garden. The Reading Garden just outside of the Children's Area of the Library is named in honor of the biologist and author whose work helped spark the modern environmental movement. The Reading Garden also features Book Bird, one of the last sculptures done by Chicago legend Richard Hunt.
