Mohamed is implementing an African Union agenda towards ending child marriage in Lesotho. He provides technical support to the Ministry of Social Development in Lesotho and partner organizations involved in child marriage projects in implementing core activities relating to child marriage. His work also includes: compiling and producing a directory of national organizations working to end child marriage in Lesotho, compiling a compendium of best practices to ensure effective and efficient mediation and dialogue when conflict of interest arises during these processes, supporting efforts in the set-up of national coordinating mechanisms towards ending child marriage, producing a comprehensive quarterly reports on activities undertaken to the African Union Commission, supporting the dissemination of effective monitoring, evaluation and reporting system towards the African Union's framework and progress assessment tools, and liaising with partner organizations towards implementation.
