Kenyi Yasin Abdallah Kenyi

South Sudan
Kenyi is a practicing advocate in South Sudan and serves as the executive director of The Advocates for Human Rights and Democracy (TAHURID) in Juba, South Sudan.He is an expert on the framework of the law in South Sudan. He built his experience in advocacy and capacity building through his work with civil society organizations and by attending several trainings on human rights, elections and governance, transitional justice, ICT laws and policies, and digital rights. He has conducted research on the state of internet freedom and human rights in South Sudan for Paradigm Initiative and the African Freedom of Expression Exchange. Through his organization, he is able to offer trainings on human rights, peacebuilding, elections and governance, transitional justice mechanisms, providing pro bono legal services and constitutional dissemination for civil society organizations, traditional and youth leaders and local government authorities.
