Tom Geddes

Head of Capital Formation, Capital Funding Group, Inc. (CFG)

Tom Geddes is Head of Capital Formation at Capital Funding Group, Inc. (CFG), a leader in the healthcare and multifamily financing industry. Tom’s role focuses on the private credit and private equity side of the business, working in particular with family office investors. Prior to CFG, Tom spent six years as a Partner at Brown Advisory, running the firm’s global family office practice, and he previously founded and served for a decade as CEO of Sagamore Ventures, the family office of the founder and chairman of Under Armour founder. Tom is active in community and philanthropic affairs, having served on boards including the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and currently as chair of Archbishop Lori’s Partners in Excellence program, and on the advisory board of Opera Baltimore. In addition, he serves as a private sector liaison to the Executive Office of the Secretary General of the United Nations.
