Mahogani Chery is the head of transformation, engagement, and belonging at Bacardi, the world’s largest privately held spirits company. She established the first diversity and inclusion platform in Bacardi’s 162-year history and focuses on enhancing economic opportunities for underrepresented groups, women in leadership, and the LGBTQ+ community. Her leadership has led to the establishment of more than 35 strategic external business partners, the implementation of more than 75 programs internally and externally, and more than $2 million invested in local communities, including initiatives aimed at rebuilding growth at minority businesses and retailers in the spirits industry post-COVID.
