Lindsay Schubiner is the director of programs at the Western States Center, where she leads efforts to defend inclusive democracy and counter the rise of extremism in five states by implementing strategic initiatives, advocating for policy changes, and supporting community resilience. Previously, she ran an initiative focused on the civil rights impacts of anti-Muslim bigotry in law enforcement, drawing on her own experiences with anti-Semitism. Lindsay is passionate about strengthening communities and institutions against bigotry and working across faith, ideology, class, urban-rural divides, and race to build broad coalitions.
