Joseph “Joe” Ceasar is the founder and executive director of Legacy Institute for Financial Education, which is dedicated to improving financial stability in rural East Texas through financial coaching and workforce development initiatives. In this role, Joe is responsible for curriculum development, instruction, and fundraising. Joseph also created the Financial Opportunity Center, which provides income, financial, and employment coaching and operates a workforce development department with four apprenticeship training programs. Previously, Joe served as a portfolio manager at Semita Asset Management. This experience led him to found Legacy Institute after he observed a lack of sound financial advice available to underserved communities. Joe brings his leadership training from serving in the Army to his current nonprofit and now aims to grow his organization by expanding into other cities and states.
