Madina Katter is the Co-founder of Grains, the first-of-its-kind nonprofit hospitality school that supports displaced persons in navigating crises through free professional education. She was also the Founder of Bulletproof Ukraine, a charity that produced bulletproof vests for civilians and journalists in Ukraine. Alongside the physical school in Kyiv, Madina is developing an interactive learning app to assist displaced individuals globally start careers in hospitality. Previously, Madina worked as a venture developer, building impact-driven tech ventures in Europe and the Middle East. Born in Kazakhstan with Uyghur roots, Madina is also passionate about her hobby project, 1-06, a cultural development lab in Berlin that hosts immersive live experiences centered around art. Madina has a unique approach to changemaking work, combining her background in law with passion for entrepreneurship.
