Valerio Thompson Boco

Valerio Thompson Boco is the Founder of the nonprofit Girl Child Empowerment Initiative, focused on empowering the girl child through education, skill acquisition, entrepreneurship, talent discovery, art, film, and culture, so they can create a future for themselves. Valerio is an International Associate on Civic Leadership to Wagner College, a Tony Elumelu Entrepreneur, a Mandela Washington Fellow, and a 2018 Africa Youth Awards advocate of the year. He is a social entrepreneur, independent filmmaker, civic leader, motivator, and a girl child advocate.
