Shamiso Ruzvidzo is an award-winning African philanthropist, entrepreneur and Information and Communications Technology for Development Strategist. With a special focus on gender-based violence advocacy and governance, she has been at the forefront of technology and educating the girl child. With an international outlook, Shamiso seeks to fulfill her vision to support the next generation of leaders in Africa by investing in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. She has set a personal mission: to change the plight of young women and girls in her country, and ultimately, Africa, using technology.
