Morocco

Rachid is the Founder of Tamount Green School in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. He's an alumnus of the European Development Days, World Youth Alliance nonprofit, as well as one of the founding members of the Sustainable Energy Youth Centre of Morocco. Rachid was the winner of the 2016 United Nations Climate Change Conference Environmental Poetry Prize, and in 2017 he was awarded as the Outstanding Young Person about environmental leadership. Rachid has a professional background in Climate Change and project management, including with the Climate Change Competence Center project implemented by The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit.
