Gatwal Yul is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Young-Adult Empowerment Initiative, a youth-led nonprofit working in Uganda with refugees and South Sudan with the grassroots communities. He is a Windle International Uganda Scholar, Western Union Global Scholar, US Institute of Peace - Dalai Lama Fellow, Young African Leaders Initiative Fellow and Peace Direct's Tomorrow Peacebuilders' Awards Winner. Gatwal is very passionate about human capital development and economic freedom of Africa.
