Furthermore, he provides legal and business development advising to private sector clients in a variety of sectors, including finance, agriculture, consumer goods, construction, IT, energy, and mining. Prior to returning to Ethiopia, Yohannes served as the Chief of Staff and legislative director for Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee in the United States Congress and as a litigator at the international law firm of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton in New York."
