Ntokozo Dlamini

Ntokozo is a regulation officer for the Swaziland Energy Regulatory Authority. His work includes using his electrical engineering knowledge to ensure electricity licenses comply to the terms stipulated in their generation, transmission, and distribution licenses. He also helps draft national regulations for the electricity industry in Swaziland. He is currently leading a project on the development guidelines that would allow small-scale embedded generators to feed power into the national grid. Ntokozo is working with the Swaziland Standards Authority and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Energy. The project’s focus is on solar PV, which has proved to be deployable at distribution grid level. Ntokozo makes technical contributions on the electricity tariff during the tariff revenue process which occurs every two years. He also advises on various technologies for consideration in the country generation plan.
