Nicodemus is a presidential appointee in the Transitional Government of the Republic of South Sudan as the commissioner for the Right of Access to Information Commission. His role includes giving policy guidance, monitoring, and reporting to the Transitional National Legislative Assembly (TNLA) on the compliance by public or private bodies in regards to their obligations under the Act 2013. He is training both public officials and Public Information Officers (PIO) on the right to information, how to refer cases, which reasonably disclose evidence of criminal offenses under the Act to the appropriate authorities, and the requirements of the Act and the rights of individuals under it.
