Marieme is an urban planner from The Gambia and Senegal. She has a passion for raising the standard of living for people in her community. She focuses her work on improving public services in general and building a strong transportation network in West Africa and Africa at large. For the past 6 years, she has worked to implement public policies on major infrastructures and investment promotion for the Government of Senegal. Now, she has decided to take up the challenge of upgrading infrastructure in The Gambia as her contribution to the country's revival process. Marieme dreams of a continent in which all citizens can partake in improving their conditions with their own actions and engagement.
