Hodan Osman

"Hodan is a newly elected Senator representing the Sool Region in the Somalia Federal Parliament. She serves as the secretariat of the Senate Finance Committee, the committee with the largest jurisdiction within the Senate, overseeing 60 percent of the federal budget, and also having direct oversight of Commerce, Industry, Communication, and Tourism. She is working to grow Somalia’s economy, create much-needed jobs, tackle the nation’s high poverty level, and reform government to ensure prosperity for future generations and diminish corruption."
