Mark Bradford is a contemporary artist known for large-scale abstract works made from layered paper and found materials. His work explores the social and political forces that shape history and experience. A MacArthur Fellow, he represented the U.S. at the 2017 Venice Biennale.
Dr. Louise Bernard
Dr. Louise Bernard is Senior Vice President at the Obama Foundation and founding Director of the Obama Presidential Center Museum. She previously worked on the design team for the Smithsonian’s National Museum of African American History and Culture and has held roles at the New York Public Library, Yale, and Georgetown University.
