Hamilton Movie Night

Celebrate the launch of our Summer Movie Series with a special outdoor screening of Hamilton, the filmed Broadway production that reimagines the founding era through hip-hop, R&B, jazz, and musical theater. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and settle in for a night of music, storytelling, and connection. Note: This event is free and space is limited. Event registration does not include Museum admission. The movie will start at dusk.

John Lewis Plaza

Named in honor of late civil rights leader Congressman John Lewis, the John Lewis Plaza is a lively and animated outdoor space that welcomes visitors to the Center. The Plaza–which serves as an entry point for the Forum, Museum, and Library buildings–is a dynamic hub built to foster the spirit of community that was central to the legacy and work of Congressman Lewis.
