Join us for an MBK Community Online Town Hall this month!

Last week, Michael Smith, executive director of MBK Alliance and director of Youth Opportunity Programs, sent the message below announcing an online town hall on October 29, 2018. If you’d like to receive updates like this from MBK Alliance, you can sign up for our email list here.

We’re excited to announce our next MBK Alliance Online Town Hall on Monday, October 29 at 3:00 p.m. EDT. You can register here to reserve your spot.

We’re honored to be joined Mrs. Sybrina Fulton, co-founder of the Trayvon Martin Foundation, and mother of Trayvon Martin. Mrs. Fulton will share her powerful reflections on the docuseries, Rest in Power, which examines Trayvon’s life and legacy. Reporter and ESPN Commentator Michael Smith will moderate this important conversation.

Joining Michael and Mrs. Fulton will be our friends in MBK Houston. Mayor Sylvester Turner will discuss the city’s leadership and reflect on the tremendous progress on Houston’s MBK work.

The MBK Alliance Team will also provide an update on upcoming opportunities for MBK Community leaders. The Town Hall will be emceed by some familiar faces—MBKA Youth Advisory Council members Malachi Hernandez, of MBK Boston and Senegal Mabry, of MBK New York State.

Participants will be able to join the discussion via video and audio. Space is limited, so RSVP right away to reserve your spot!

All the best,
