We launched Obama Foundation Training Days to energize young people – particularly those who are not yet engaged in civic life – and help kickstart their work to make a positive difference in their community. The first pilot training was held in Chicago, and 150 participants, ages 18 to 24, joined the Obama Foundation team to learn how to use their own story as a powerful tool for change and what concrete, simple steps they can take to organize around the issues they care about.

We partnered with diverse organizations — from universities to churches to opportunity youth organizations — to help us design and lead each training.
