Women’s and Gender Studies and Environmental Science As a Filipina and a feminist, I am passionate about women’s issues and how sexism and the patriarchy uniquely impact women of color and women in the Global South. Some of these issues include lack of girls’ education and female leadership, child/forced marriage, and the sexual exploitation of women and girls.
