MBK Spartanburg accepted the MBK Community Challenge to improve the lives of boys and young men of color (BYMOC) in 2016. MBK Spartanburg is an array of allies providing support and services to BYMOC in education, economic inclusion, health and wellness, job readiness, criminal justice advocacy, and mentoring. They are heavily involved with educational and job readiness initiatives, and they are proud to serve as a leading catalyst in Positive Youth Development on the Community Action Board of Connect Spartanburg, a countywide initiative. MBK Spartanburg is focused on five MBK milestones: (2), (3), (4), (5), (6).
