MBK Southfield accepted the MBK Community Challenge to improve the lives of boys and young men of color (BYMOC) in 2014. MBK Southfield’s community is a diverse one made up of different races and ethnic groups that values family, fellowship and excellence. MBK Southfield is focused on four of the six milestones: (3) increasing high school graduation rates and college preparedness, (4) supporting college and/or post-secondary training completion, (5) promoting seamless transitions into the workforce, and (6) reducing violence and providing second chances.
