MBK San Juan accepted the MBK Community Challenge to improve the lives of boys and young men of color in 2015. MBK San Juan is anchored in An Alliance for Peace and transforms the lives of boys and young men of color through violence interruption, negotiation skills, mentorship, access to educational opportunities, and workforce development. It’s a collaboration among Puerto Rico Community Foundation, Nuestra Escuela, Taller Salud, and Loíza Municipality. In 2018, MBK San Juan was selected as an MBK Impact Community and is focused on the following four MBK milestones: (3), (4), (5), (6).
