MBK San Jose accepted the MBK Community Challenge to improve the lives of boys and young men of color (BYMOC) in 2015. MBK San Jose is a commitment to eliminate the structural and racial barriers that hold back BYMOC and to build a community in which they can thrive. The City serves as a catalyst and leader for innovative solutions to the region’s most challenging problems, and they have taken a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to addressing disparities and building opportunities. MBK San Jose is focused on the following four MBK milestones: (1), (2), (3), (6).
