MBK Salt Lake City accepted the MBK Community Challenge to improve the lives of boys and young men of color (BYMOC) in 2015. MBK Salt Lake City works in conjunction with businesses, government entities, non-profit organizations, schools, religious organizations, and professional sports teams to ensure opportunity-building for BYMOC at every level. MBK Salt Lake City is focused on three of the six milestones: (3) increasing high school graduation rates and college preparedness, (4) supporting college and/or post-secondary training completion, and (6) reducing violence and providing second chances.
