MBK New Rochelle accepted the MBK Community Challenge to improve the lives of boys and young men of color (BYMOC) in 2015. MBK New Rochelle is focused on all six milestones: (1) improving school readiness, (2) ensuring that BYMOC are reading at grade level by the third grade, (3) increasing high school graduation rates and college preparedness, (4) supporting college and/or post-secondary training completion, (5) promoting seamless transitions into the workforce, and (6) reducing violence and providing second chances.
