MBK Montgomery County accepted the MBK Community Challenge to improve the lives of boys and young men of color (BYMOC) in 2015. MBK Montgomery County is a group of government and nonprofit partners working together to build an equitable system for BYMOC to access that which can help lead to their success. MBK Montgomery County is focused on three of the six MBK milestones: (3) increasing high school graduation rates and college preparedness, (4) supporting college and/or post-secondary training completion, and (5) promoting seamless transitions into the workforce.
