MBK Milwaukee accepted the MBK Community Challenge to improve the lives of boys and young men of color in 2018. MBK Milwaukee is a city-wide effort strengthened by the philanthropic community, Milwaukee Public Schools, Milwaukee Area Technical College, Milwaukee County Office on African American Affairs, City of Milwaukee Health Dept., Office of Violence Prevention, community and faith-based organizations, and the business community. Their priorities include education & workforce development, health, criminal justice reform & violence prevention, leadership & civic engagement. In 2018, MBK Milwaukee was selected as an MBK Community to Watch and is focused on three MBK milestones: (3), (5), (6).
